Reminiscent of the woody tonka notes in Saigon Cinnamon (Cinnamomum loureiroi), Saigonal (Orthomethoxy Cinnamaldehyde) is a real delight. Compared to Cinnamic aldehyde, which is lovely but super restricted, this molecule is softer and longer lasting. It's also restricted, but separately to cinnamal, meaning that you can double up. If cinnamic aldehyde is fiesty and red hot, Saigonal is self-assured and quietly confident - ultimately winning the evaporation curve.
