OK THIS ONE IS VERY WEIRD

(and that's me saying that)

The official description of this one is along the lines of cooked beef, roasted savory broth, earthy hazelnut. It was originally devised for use in flavours, so this probably explains the emphasis on its meatiness.

For me, though, it's very precisely the crispy part of a fried egg?! And also something warm, almost ambergris earthy.

Anyway, it feels apt to warn you that, on account of its weirdness, it may be that this material never ends up in one of your formulas. But why should that be a reason not to want to smell it?!

(incidentally, if you do weave it into something, be sure to let me know )
